Webinar: From data to mobilizing communities to act on challenges
Join us for this webinar on community indicator systems, and where they can go from here to inspire community action.
This webinar took place on February 18 at 12:00 pm (CST).
Currently, there is an increasing trend to collect and visualize data and indicators to help measure the pulse of the community by tracking economic well-being, quality of social interactions and participation, health, and environmental resources. While collecting this information is useful, it begs the question if this is enough to actually understand what is happening in the community, what are the good trends that we should continue and what challenges that require action? In this CSIN webinar, we focused on examples of initiatives grounded in data to specifically explore what engagement, communication and other tools can be used to bridge high-quality data, data analyses to connect experts and community for collective action.
This webinar was co-organized by IISD and the Canadian Sustainability Indicators Network (CSIN).
