On January 26, 2016, IISD hosted a dinner event in Ottawa convening leaders from business, government, academia and civil society to discuss key sustainability issues and Canada's role in addressing them.
The event was also an opportunity and honour Maurice Strong, a visionary advocate for sustainable development, who passed away late last year. Speakers included Hon. Jim Carr, Lloyd Axworthy and John Ralston Saul.
