IISD is hosting a series of capacity-building workshops on the use of the Sustainable Asset Valuation (SAVi) tool and the financing of sustainable infrastructure in Dakar, Senegal, from April 23 to 27, 2018.
The aim of the workshops is to work on the application of SAVi with the associated ministries on infrastructure projects that are key to the implementation of the Plan Sénégal Emergent (PSE).
We will be working with the Ministry of Finance for 2.5 days on the use of SAVi and host workshops with the Ministry of Mines and Geology, the Chamber of Mines and the Bureau Operational Suivi, the agency responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Senegalese development plan. IISD will also speak on financing instruments and the role of public–private partnerships for sustainable infrastructure.
